The best time to visit is June to September for milder weather, long daylight, and accessible hiking and kayaking. For Northern Lights and snow adventures, visit from February to April.
Summer temperatures range from 0°C to 15°C (32°F–59°F). In winter, temperatures can drop below -20°C (-4°F), especially inland. Tours provide guidance on staying comfortable in all conditions.
We recommend thermal base layers, waterproof outerwear, insulated boots, gloves, and a warm hat. A detailed packing list is provided upon booking. Specialized equipment for activities (like kayaking or glacier hiking) is supplied by your guides.
